Wes Kain Named Announcer of TORC Series

Crandon, WI (March 31, 2009)-The TORC Series is going to be alive with excitement this season as seasoned announcer Wes Kain joins TORC Series team. "Wes was the announcer for the Loretta Lynn Nationals and always had the crowd rocking!" stated Ricky Johnson, CEO and Owner of TORC. "We are happy to have Wes as part of our team. He will play an integral part in the overall fan experience."

Wes Kain is a veteran announcer from Lake Worth, Florida that has announced for the AMA Amateur Winter Olympics, BooKoo Arenacross, over the last five seasons. Wes has also announced for many other races and charity events.

"After years of announcing bar-banging motocross and supercross events across the country, I am looking forward to bringing my high energy and off the wall style of entertainment to the Traxxas TORC Series. I will bring my passion for all motor sports to the fender bending, smash mouth, high impact sport of off road racing," Kain continued. "I have been involved in motorsports for over 35 years, first as a competitor, then raising two sons from amateur to pros. My passion for the industry comes to life through my announcing."
